HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Alexandria received the coveted Hospital of the Year Award during HealthSouth’s Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet held Sept. 16 in Miami, Florida.

HealthSouth Alexandria is the only hospital among HealthSouth’s network of 122 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals to receive this award recognizing outstanding performance in development of clinical programs, quality of patient care services, high patient satisfaction scores, low percentage of employee turnover and overall operational excellence. The hospital serves patients who are recovering from conditions such as stroke and other neurological disorders, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions and amputations.
